We were under the impression that we would pick 5-10 different designs to use on the collars, however, this would have meant paying a lot more money to the producers of the product to change the design. According to Steve it's easy to change the colour pigments, but not the actual design. Steve originally wanted a sort of leopard print design in red, yellow, green, black and blue.
We liked his plan, but it was a bit of shame that the collar designs weren't flexible. So we went away and had a think about the overall design.
Then we had a brainwave - why not make all the collars black, with a range of waterproof, trendy covers that you can easy swap whenever you fancied a change.
We spoke to Steve about it, and he loved it. He thought it was a good idea, only one problem - how would the collar fasten.
We drew these mock-up's after the meeting so we could remember the new design and visualise the new collar. We sent them to Steve and Adam to make sure we were all on the same page.
