Phone call with Adam

After emailing Adam, we arranged to have a proper conversation over the phone. Usually we find it pretty nerve racking talking to people on the phone. However, after chatting with Adam for a few minutes we could tell that this is a fantastic opportunity, which made us feel right at home, on the phone...

We believe the conversation was a success, and we hope we gave a good first impression!

Here are the notes we made during the 40 minute conversation:

- CatNav Live is a company aiming to create a social app, linked with a GPS collar that tracks your cat's movement, You can also see other cats in the area providing they also have one of the collars. They need our help with the more "creative" side of the business.

- Raise funds for the CatNav Live Kickstarter campaign by: creating a video, an on line presentation for Kickstarter, set up and manage social media sites and help with design and research of the cat collar.

- App layout - research and design needed after establishing brand identity.

- GPS will be built into the collar, different from other collars that have GPS attached to the outside.

- Social side of the app is key. Really want us to put across this in our media campaign?

- They have software engineers in Bristol ready to go, but need to raise £150,000 using Kickstarter first.

- Rough plans at the moment, so there is an opportunity to help with collar designs and styles.

During the phone call Adam asked if we could meet up to talk more about CatNav Live and show us some plans and research, along with his business partner, Steve. He asked us to email him with a time and location, so we decided to meet on Thursday, 1pm, at Table, Table in Aspley.
