After a week off due to Uni deadlines and various other reasons, we are back and raring to go. In our third meeting we discussed many aspects of the project including video ideas and the switch from Kickstarter to Indigogo.
The first thing that we discussed was the change in websites. Steve and Adam explained that switching to Indigogo was best for the product as we would be reaching out to more people in our target audience. We were all happy with this decision as we need as many backers as possible and Indigogo seems like the most sensible option in terms of our product.
Next, we shared our ideas for the Indigogo campaign video which went down really well with Steve and Adam. We won't go into too much detail on this point as we are working on a storyboard and a more in depth post about the video process.
When you make a pledge on Indigogo, you are promised some sort of reward as an incentive, we discussed various rewards that could be given out. It turns out that Steve has some great connections which means that we will be able to reward people with some great gifts.
Steve and Adam mentioned that they were unsure of how involved they needed to be in the video process and asked if we could devise a timetable with some sort of logical sequence to make it more clear what they would need to be doing. We came to the decision that Steve should be the one to create the timetable as he is more aware of the overall process.
We then moved on to collar designs, which we are very excited about. Steve has asked us to look into some designs and create some mockups taking target audience, focus group information and trends into account. We will create 4 designs.
We then set some deadlines for ourselves which include collar designs, video storyboard, blog posts and setting up a dropbox.
All in all this was a great meeting and we really got somewhere by sharing ideas and working together to create new ideas.
Ellie and Becky.
