We've had a tricky last few months with what seems to be every part of the practical project. A few weeks back, Ellie became very unwell and was ultimately bedridden for a matter of weeks. This has resulted in us falling behind on our personal deadlines and unfortunately not being able to complete the project in time for our University deadline.
We had planned on filming and editing the video and completing all aspects of the project in the 3 weeks that we had off of University for Easter. Unfortunately, Ellie became unwell in the week leading up to Easter and was unable to complete any work over the duration of the holiday and the weeks after.
The fact that Ellie was unwell means that Becky would have either had to complete the rest of the work (including filming and editing the video) on her own or complete as much of the project as possible and hand that in, which would have meant that Ellie would have no work to hand in. So as you can tell we were in a bit of a tricky situation.
Because of this, we have now both applied for an extension of our university hand in date so that we can now complete the project to the degree of excellence that we had been planning on! We have been allowed an extra 3 weeks to complete everything which is ample time to get everything up to date on our end.
Thankfully, Ellie is now fully recovered and with full cooperation from the clients the project is back on track.
