Things to remember when filming an IndieGoGo video

According to statistics taken from the Indiegogo website, campaigns that have a video raise on average 114% more than pitches with no video.

On their blog, IndieGoGo offers this advice when shooting a crowdfunding video and we're going to follow their advice to hopefully make the video a sucess.

On top of this we need to remember to:
  • Tell the audience who you are.
  • Tell the story behind the project. Where did Steve get the idea? What stage is it at now? Why is it amazing?
  • Come out and ask for people's support, explaining why we need it and what we will do with their money.
  • Talk about how awesome are rewards will be - using any images?
  • Remember to thank everyone.
