Meeting with Adam & Steve

Today we had our second meeting with Adam and Steve. We discussed so many aspects of the project and made real progress with the direction of the product.

First up, Steve explained how the meeting with the software developers, who also design products for big companies around the globe, went. He said it went really well and they've sorted out more logistics about the collar design.

Here is a break down of the information they gained after visiting the software developers:

- product will be sold for £80 - but will be sold for £50 through the Kickstarter website.
- Free gifts will be given to people who pledge a certain amount of money on Kickstarter. We thought of the idea that we could create charms to link onto the collar as a way for people to pledge more money.
- The app will be free along side purchase of the collar.
- App will be developed after the money from Kickstarter is raised.
- Retailers who plan to stock the product want to focus on functionality

We showed them the logos, where they fell in love with the cat on one of them. However, we all agreed a few improvements could be made to make it look even better.

After telling them we set up the social media accounts, we, lets say, had some technical difficulties in the fact that Adam and Steve didn't understand how social media sites work at all mainly because they're not signed up to any. We will be preparing a step by step guide for them to use so they can get a better insight about how we're promoting CatNav Live.

They wrote a checklist of what they needed to complete before we continue any further with that CatNav Live adventure. Including registering the name of the company, and a few legal formalities. We told them we would revise the logo to make it perfect and continue to work on social media and gather ideas for the Kickstarter campaign.

We thought of some wonderful ideas for the video and even a few ways to get people excited for the launch of the campaign, which will probably be in mid-march. Even though this is technically after our project is completed we've decided to continue helping Steve and Adam to promote the business and do whatever we can to help them achieve their CatNav Live goals.

The meeting ended on a high, Steve bought us another round of drinks and we got talking about our hobbies and the different types of music we listen to. We thought we had struck gold with this placement, but we never expected to love it as much as we do.
