We wanted to know what they thought of the new logos and what the plan is so we can start filming the campaign.
However, today we received some disappointing news from both Adam and Steve. They were unable to register the name CatNavLive, as we believe it's already been registered. Therefore, we will have to think of a new name and completely re-brand all the work we've done up to now - including social media design and prep, logo design and the IndieGoGo page graphics.
We've decided to keep the blog the same, as a way to remember the original name; CatNav Live.
I think it will take a bit of work to make any corrections we need to but first, we need to help Adam and Steve come up with a new name for the product.
So far we've got: CatMap, Cat City, CatTrax but I'm sure Steve and Adam will have a few ideas of their own so for now, we will have to wait and see what they come up so we can quickly make any changes we need to.
-- UPDATE --
After waiting a week to hear the new name, Steve and Adam have decided on the name; Purr. We believe they have registered the name already, which is a huge step in the right direction. This means we can really get the ball rolling on the social media campaign as well as any help creating a new identity.
We like the name, it's simple, catchy and straightforward. I think people will understand that Purr is associated with a cat, more so than CatNav Live. We're excited about the change of name, just not the work we will have to change!
Here's to this new adventure!
